หลั่งความขื่นขมที่ถมอยู่ในใจตน

หยาดย้อยจากปรางค์สวรรค์เบื้องบน

drops from the heavenly pagoda above

สู่กลางแก้มดินในฐานถิ่นคน

to the middle of the cheeks of the soil in the people's homeland

นั้นคือหยาดฝน..ฉ่ำใจ

That's raindrops.. juicy hearts.

สาดสายพร่างพรายพรมผืนไร่นาแนวเนิน

splashing the dazzling line on the carpet of rice fields

ป่าดอนโขดเขินคลองคุ้งทุ่งหนองนองไป

Forest highland shallows canal field swamp

หล่อเลี้ยงพืชพันธุ์มีผลดอกใบ

nourish the plant with fruit, flowers and leaves

โลกเคยหลับไหลพลันฝืนตื่นใจ

The world used to fall asleep, suddenly reluctant to be surprised.

สวยงามสดใสจริงเอย

Really beautiful and bright

พอแสงทองอาทิตย์ทาบทา

When the golden light greets the sun

พลันน้ำตานางฟ้าระเหย

The angel's tears evaporated

เป็นละอองไอน้ำอย่างเคย

It's like a mist of steam.

ถูกลมรำเพยพัดเลยลอยวน

was blown away by the wind

หยาดน้ำจากตานางฟ้าที่ตรอมอารมณ์

The teardrops from the sorrowful angel's eyes

ฝากมากับลมเป็นฝนพร่างพรมใจคน

entrusted with the wind as rain sprinkles the hearts of people

แต่น้ำจากตาตอนช้ำกมล

but the water from the bruised eyes

ที่เราหลั่งลอยระเหยกี่หน
